Everyone calls Brett O'Reilly 'Pencil' because he's long and wiry and draws the ball to him wherever he goes on the field. Pencil plays for local club, the Gippsland Power, and everyone expects him to be drafted to an AFL team. Essendon is his club of choice. But when Pencil's farmer dad is injured, and Pencil has to keep going home to do the milking, his form drops suddenly. Determined not to give up on his dream to help the Bombers to premiership glory, he thinks up a mad plan to do the milking.
